Continuous handrails are usually seen on cut-string staircases, but for this project we mixed things up by pairing a closed-string staircase with a classic box newel design. We also included our signature curved opening to give the staircase a truly bespoke feel.

The look is finished with a custom stain and helical volute openings at the base of the stairs for a bit of extra character. We even added a hidden steel structure to float the intermediate landing — not something you’d immediately notice, but a pretty cool bit of engineering behind the scenes.
